From data to informed decisions with the decision intelligence platform “ebblo Advise”

With “ebblo Advise”, ebblo Western Europe is launching a decision intelligence solution for transport providers. ebblo Advise supports operators in not only analysing existing data, but also deriving transparent recommendations for action to improve operations. Instead of simply providing dashboards, ebblo Advise delivers operational intelligence for public transport!

Transport operators today work with a wide range of data sources, key figures and reports. Yet in day-to-day operations, it often remains unclear what causes certain developments, where the greatest potential lies and which measures will actually have an impact. This is where ebblo Advise comes in: the solution combines data, analyses and recommendations in one end-to-end process – from a shared data basis and the prioritisation of action areas through to proving successful improvements.

The focus is on practical value for operations, management and transport authorities – not just figures and dashboards, as with traditional business intelligence, but concrete recommendations for day-to-day work. ebblo Advise makes visible where time, money and quality are being lost – for example in punctuality, transfer protection, traffic light preemption or suboptimal use of capacity. While existing business intelligence dashboards look back at past operating days, the new decision intelligence solution reveals correlations. It helps transport operators set priorities so that they can focus on the areas that promise the greatest impact.

A particular focus is placed on transparency. Where AI-assisted functions are used, they provide anomalies, prioritisation and indications of possible causes – while the decision always remains with people. ebblo Advise supports informed decisions, but does not make decisions itself.

With ebblo Advise, ebblo aims to support transport operators in deriving concrete improvements from existing data. The goal is to enable all users to demonstrate transparently what impact the measures they have taken have had.

ebblo Advise is suitable for all transport providers, regardless of whether they already use other ebblo solutions. The new solution is modular in structure and can therefore be deployed precisely in line with the requirements of each transport operator. Users can select the desired areas of analysis and expansion stages according to their specific questions. The spectrum ranges from curated reports and in-depth analyses through to AI-assisted indications of anomalies and causes.
