IT-TRANS 2026: Moving confidently into the future with ebblo ITCS solutions

3-5 March, Karlsruhe, Germany

On 16 February 2026, the launch of ebblo, our new brand emerging from Trapeze, marked the beginning of an exciting new chapter. We are now delighted to present ebblo for the first time to an international audience at IT-TRANS.

Together with our Modaxo sister companies Nexfeld and Systemtechnik, we welcome you to booth H5 in hall 1. As a Platinum Sponsor, ebblo underscores its commitment to actively shaping the future of public transport – both regionally and globally.

At our booth, you can experience ITCS solutions that make mobility smarter, more sustainable, and more accessible. We will showcase the next generation of our Intermodal Transport Control Systems (ITCS) – powerful, scalable, and future proof. Our technologies support transport operators in optimising operations and significantly enhancing the passenger experience.

We are happy to demonstrate how you can further develop safe, accessible, and modern public transport in your city. Our solutions combine proven technology with innovative approaches such as AI, V2X, and cloud based architectures, ensuring reliable and highly adaptable ITCS systems for the future.

Intermodal Transport Control Systems (ITCS)

ebblo’s ITCS solutions combine smart functionality with state of the art technology. With integrated vehicle data, intelligent incident management, dynamic passenger information and future ready innovations like AI, cloud based architectures and V2X, we empower transport providers worldwide to run smoother operations and deliver a better passenger experience – today and tomorrow.

Next Level Mobility Assistance: ebblo Assist

ebblo Assist enables passengers with reduced mobility to use public transport independently. With state of the art on board technology and a cloud based backend, ebblo Assist sets new standards and helps transport operators provide truly inclusive and barrier free services.

Interface Between Control Centre and Vehicle: On-Board Systems

The latest generation of on-board computers for buses and trains seamlessly integrates vehicles into control systems. It secures data flows, saves operating data and permits communication between the control centre and drivers. Drivers use modern IP terminals to operate the on-board computers. We also offer cost-effective alternatives via smartphones and tablets.

Connected on the Move: V2X Communication

We are shifting from traditional traffic light preemption to a bidirectional traffic light phase assistant, improving traffic flow and reducing traction energy consumption. With the new PTX interface, an open and vendor‑neutral communication standard is now available for the first time, enabling data exchange between C‑ITS on‑board units and on‑board computers in buses and trams.

Business Intelligence: Multi-Dimensional Data Analysis

Intelligent evaluations of the data from the ITCS system can be used to optimise operational processes and increase efficiency. The business intelligence solution from Trapeze offers users both easy-to-use standard reports and automatic report generation, as well as customisable reports for company-specific evaluations. Other advantages include integrated interfaces to third-party systems and the use of AI to enhance the analysis of data.

Effortless Management of EV fleets

Onboarding green-powered vehicles is easier with ebblo. Integrate electric fleet data into your operations with ease, monitoring charge cycles, range, and availability in real time. Dispatchers can plan routes based on battery status, optimize charging schedules, and prevent downtime – ensuring your transition to electric is smooth, efficient, and sustainable.
