ebblo looks back on an impressive InnoTrans 2026
At InnoTrans 2026, ebblo presented solutions for intermodal transport control systems, on-board systems, passenger information, and decision intelligence. ebblo Assist ran live with Berliner Verkehrsbetriebe (BVG) on bus route 186. Marking its 30th anniversary, the trade fair drew around 175,000 trade visitors from 120 countries and 3,190 exhibitors.
With around 175,000 trade visitors from 120 countries, 3,190 exhibitors, 42 fully booked halls, more than 200,000 square metres of exhibition space, and 180 world premieres, InnoTrans delivered impressive figures for its 30th anniversary. AI, digitalisation, and new drivetrain technologies shaped the leading global trade fair for transport technology.
The public transport halls were equally busy, and ebblo used the opportunity to present its latest developments in Intermodal Transport Control Systems (ITCS), on-board systems, passenger information, and decision intelligence.
Our product highlights at InnoTrans:

Modaxo Neighbourhood: solutions from a strong network
In the Modaxo Neighbourhood, Modaxo companies ebblo, Nexfeld, unitSTS, Binary System, Voyagerr, AEP, and Signature Rail presented their rail and public transport solutions. Together, we showcased a broad product range and demonstrated how transport operators benefit from integrated technologies, specialised expertise, and a strong international network.
Partnerships strengthened further
InnoTrans also provided the opportunity to deepen existing partnerships and plan joint activities for the years ahead. With Stadler Signalling, we agreed concrete next steps for developing our joint passenger information offering and aligned on further collaboration.
With UITP, we renewed our Gold partnership for the UITP Summit 2027 in Hamburg, reaffirming our long-term commitment to the world’s leading public transport network.
We also officially signed our Platinum sponsorship for IT-TRANS 2028 in Karlsruhe, continuing our presence at one of the leading trade fairs for digital public transport solutions.
Mobility Redefined CEO Live Roundtable
A particular highlight of the Modaxo Neighbourhood was the Mobility Redefined CEO Live Roundtable. Moderated by Dr Kaan Yıldızgöz, the panel brought together Fernanda Esbizaro Rodrigues Rudnik (Board Director, ARTESP, São Paulo), Manuel Valdes Lopez (CEO, ATM Barcelona), Lex Bentner (Head of Public Transport, Ville de Luxembourg), and Cherie Lee (Chief Engineering Officer, Yarra Trams, Australia) to discuss rising operating costs, decarbonisation, staff shortages, and how to make sustainable mobility affordable and attractive in the long term.
Networking, exchange, and new contacts
Beyond the technical programme, the trade fair offered many opportunities for personal connections. Our stand party with cocktails and fresh pasta, as well as the cheese and wine tasting organised by Binary System, sparked new contacts and engaging conversations with customers, partners, and industry colleagues.
Thank you for visiting
We would like to thank all visitors, customers, and partners for the many conversations, valuable insights, and strong interest in our solutions. InnoTrans 2026 once again showed how important personal exchange is for the future of public transport. We look forward to deepening the contacts made at the fair and continuing the conversations we started there.
We are already looking forward to the next InnoTrans, taking place from 19 to 22 September 2028 in Berlin.
