ebblo Assure – explainer video

When the buses run on time and an operator performs all trips and delivers the miles as planned, there is no need to dispute any payments to the drivers. This is the ideal scenario. However, sometimes trips or parts of trips are not logged or not available in the reporting database due to operational reasons. This leads to missing miles that can cause pay disputes. Heblo’s Assure tool reports on all missing segments of trips, allowing the data to be measured and an agreement reached on which additional miles should be paid. Using cause codes, the operator clerks can add reasons for the missing trips or trip segments for approval by the authority. It can then be decided whether the missing data is deductible or non deductible. An example of this would be if there was a traffic jam or a detour on the bus route causes missing mileage. This would be cast as non deductible, and the operator would still be paid. But what if the trip was not able to be completed due to a fault with the vehicle or driver sickness? This missing data would be classed as deductible and the operator would not be paid.
