Therefore, together with ebblo, it implemented a pilot project to introduce V2X within the framework of the \u201cITS-CUBE\u201d funding project.<\/p>\n<p>V2X marks the start of a new era in traffic light preemption for Hamburg\u2019s public transport system: vehicles communicate directly with traffic lights, the transport infrastructure and other vehicles \u2013 in real time, bidirectionally and intelligently.<\/p>\n<p>V2X technology provides real-time information on priority levels, traffic light phases and current traffic conditions. It thus replaces the previous analogue systems with fixed reporting points.
