available mobility services. This also includes services and solutions for self-driving vehicles. Such flexible transport services can make an important contribution to transport networks by covering the first and last mile. Transport companies can use them to supplement and enhance their transport systems in a meaningful and efficient way.<\/p>\n<div class=\"ewa-rteLine\"><\/div>\n<p class=\"ewa-rteLine\">With our LIO control system, transport companies have an overview of all their vehicles, regardless of the drive technology they use and whether or not there is a driver on board. With ebblo&#8217;s AVOC (Autonomous Vehicle Operation Centre) software solution, self-driving vehicles can be integrated into both our own systems and those of other manufacturers. AVOC acts as an interface between the vehicle manufacturers&#8217; background systems and the operations control system.<\/p>\n<div class=\"ewa-rteLine\"><\/div>\n<p class=\"ewa-rteLine\">Autonomous vehicles can also be integrated into mobility-on-demand concepts. We have been involved in various projects and feasibility studies, gaining a wealth of experience and demonstrating in practice how autonomous vehicles can be fully integrated into an operations control system.<\/p>\n<div class=\"ewa-rteLine\"><\/div>\n<p>Route 12 in Neuhausen am Rheinfall was our first project involving autonomous mobility and also the world&#8217;s first integration of a self-driving vehicle into an existing control system! In collaboration with Swiss Transit Lab, a vehicle from manufacturer Navya was integrated into the control system of Schaffhausen Transport Services (Verkehrsbetriebe Schaffhausen). Thanks to the system integration, passenger information and vehicle data, among other things, were displayed centrally.<\/p>\n<div class=\"ewa-rteLine\"><\/div>\n<p>In Bern, a self-driving shuttle from the manufacturer EasyMile was tested for two years on a route between the Bear Park (B\u00e4renpark) and the Marzili funicular (Marzilibahn). The integration of the vehicle into the existing control system made it possible to monitor and control automated and conventional vehicles together without expanding the control centre.<\/p>\n<div class=\"ewa-rteLine\"><\/div>\n<p>Monheim has implemented the world&#8217;s first operation of self-driving public buses connected to an existing control system. Since February 2020, Monheim&#8217;s public transport system has been operating an old town line with EasyMile vehicles. These are integrated into the existing control system, allowing dispatchers to manage conventional and automated buses simultaneously.<\/p>\n<div
